Saturday, I met a beautiful lady that I think is in love with paintings.
And that gave me a great idea. It offered me a brand new perspective on my writing:
My blog is my canvas.
The colors I choose to paint with are therefore my feelings. They also play a big part in giving me the general idea of what the painting is going to be about — the main structure, if you will.
The choice of words and how I separate the text represent the shades, how bright and detailed I desire the storytelling to be.
The photo that eventually becomes the cover, well, I would like to think of it as the painting’s title. A tiny piece of information that empowers the emotion I want my readers to feel.
When I read and edit before hitting publish, those are my last-minute changes, the brush lightly tapping on the paper, filling the gaps for the final time.
Here, on my blog, I can do as I wish. I have full freedom over what I choose to paint next.
So dear life, pour something new into my palette and let me know, what shall be my next color?
